This itinerary describes a 10-day trip to Mount Kailash, a sacred peak in Tibet. The journey involves flying from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, then to Simikot, and finally to Hilsa. From Hilsa, the trip continues by car to Taklakot, where participants acclimate to the high altitude. Then, the journey proceeds to the holy Lake Manasarovar and the starting point of the trek to Mount Kailash.
On day six, the trek to Diraphuk begins, followed by a long and challenging trek to Zuthulphuk on day seven. The trek continues on day eight, passing through Manasarovar Lake before returning to Taklakot. The final day of the trip involves flying back to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj and Simikot before departing.
The highlights of this trip include experiencing the unique culture and landscapes of Tibet, visiting holy sites like Lake Manasarovar and Mount Kailash, and undertaking a challenging and rewarding trek in the Himalayan mountains. On reaching Kathmandu International Airport, received by our guide and staff and then transfer to your respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city. First check into your hotel rooms after getting refreshed meet your guide. 1400m
Early in the morning, you will take a flight to Nepalgunj and you will shift to a helicopter and fly to Simikot. After arrival, you will rest for acclimatization and take a walk around the hillside in the afternoon.

After breakfast, you will shift to a helicopter and fly to Hilsa, which is located on the Nepali border. You will cross the border on foot and enter Tibet China to meet your Nepali and Tibetan crew. Then, you will drive to Taklakot, where you will spend the night.

In the morning, you will drive 78 km to Holy Lake Manasarovar. After arrival, you can perform free spiritual activities such as pooja, havana worship, meditation, and holy bath. You will stay overnight at a lodge by the shore of the lake.

After breakfast, you will drive for an hour to Darchen, which is the base camp of Holy Mt. Kailash. You will have the rest of the day free for acclimatization and preparing for the circuit. You will stay overnight at Hotel Himalayan in Darchen.

You will begin the Parikarma/cora by driving 10 km to Tarboche (Yam Dhwar) and trek up to Diraphuk, which will take around 4-5 hours. You will stay overnight at a guesthouse in Diraphuk.

We will trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m) for 22 km and walk for approximately 8-10 hours – Parikarma continues. This is the day every pilgrim talks about, the most difficult journey throughout the trip. We will trek up to Dolma La pass (5600m). We will offer very short prayers at Dolmala and move towards Gaurikunda. The program is the same as usual, and we will spend the night at a guest house in Zuthulphuk.
Altitude: Diraphuk (4890m) to Zuthulphuk (4790m) via Dolma La pass (5600m)
Distance: 22 km trek
Time: Approx. 8-10 hours trek
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
After breakfast, we will trek around 8 km. We will reach the point where our bus will be waiting to drive us to Darchen. Parikarma ends. After lunch, we will drive to Taklakot via Manasoravar parikarma (circuit). We will spend the night at a guest house.
Altitude: Zuthulphuk (4790m) to Taklakot (3900m)
Distance: 8 km trek + 30 km drive
Time: Approx. 3-4 hours trek
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Early morning, drive to the Nepal border, and fly by helicopter to Simikot. Take a connecting flight to Nepalgunj and then to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey.+

General Information regarding Kailash Mansarovar Tour.
Insurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will usefully you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
Oxygen cylinder: Our Company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.

Between 1000m and 3500m the temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to 5 deg C low. At higher altitude, the temperature ranges from 20 deg C to -10 deg C. During winter it is around 10 deg colder.
